In the fall of 2002 a small group of Denton physicians and surgeons held a meeting and discussed a common dream of building a new kind of medical facility for their community.  The group met regularly, shared ideas and gradually developed a list of principles they all agreed they would most value in the creation of their own facility.  They decided that their own facility should incorporate:
 
·       Strong physician input into the management and operation of the facility;
·       A clinical environment where patients, physicians and employees can work together as a team;
·       A work environment where patient, physician and employee satisfaction are all a common priority;
·       The latest in technological advancements, and;   
·       A business model that provides a cost-efficient alternative to other healthcare providers.

Today, as a result of the dedication, commitment and hard work of these physicians and Cirrus Health, North Texas Hospital has become a reality.
